Ordered the 14 oz ribeye, cooked medium rate as ordered, but not as tender as I like. My friend ordered the Monterey Chicken and he said it was delish. Caesar salad was great! I forgot to take a photo of the fudge brownie with ice cream but it was scrumptious! Our server, Donna, was very attentive and friendly.

Pilgreen's is a nearly hundred year tradition, and it's still here because the food is tasty and their current location has a good environment! Steaks are the order of the day here, though they've chicken, pork, and seafood. The appetizers are wonderful. When the weather allows, being outside is a treat. The service is especially good. Very kind and accommodating.

My family used to take me to Pilgreen's in Atlanta. Growing up in Riverdale, we would go to the Morrow Pilgreen's. Was sad when it closed and had no idea of the move to Lake Dow. We met a group there 5 days ago and had a great time and great food.

Very old but popular, reasonably priced, friendly service. My steak was MW and very tender but bland, just needed to be cooked with a little salt as well as the mashed potatoes. Over all I would go back.

Food was terrible! I had the Seafood platter, everything was fried in burnt oil! Crab cake was socked in oil. I also had loaded mash potatoes. The potatoes were cold and had a lump of frozen butter in them!The salad had no tomatoes, with one slice of cucumber and one shrivel of red onion. This place is terrible!

Bacon and Cheese Tater Tots were tasty but not good enough to make me return for more. The Bacon and Cheeseburger with Onion Rings were not a good choice for me. Others in my party of nine were also dissatisfied with the quality of food (steaks, French fries), without price consideration. Price versus value is factored into my rating. Overall experience: Slow service, long wait for table, food quality not worth the wait time or price, and then I was over billed (charged $2.25) for water listed as "Beverage." Being billed for water as a beverage was a simple mistake; however, it makes me feel I should deduct one Star from my rating because I feel it is likely an error or action that may occur frequently and go unnoticed by customers. The atmosphere and surroundings were nice but I cannot give more than Three Stars knowing that many other better restaurants are available in the McDonough area.

Food is almost 100% great. Steaks cooked to perfection and collard greens and onion rings are my favorite. Service is impeccable and everybody is super friendly. Inside of restaurant smells of soiled carpet and a little dirt. B asement and elevator levels has an "Old" odor. Great location and plenty of parking. The only problem is that the interior of the restaurant and the entire building needs a full remodeling. Currently the place looks old, cheap and worn. Place needs to be gutted and remodeled. Food is good but the rest feels like the entire place needs a good bath with soap and water. I have personally referred friends to visit for a great steak but they turned around immediately upon entering the building and being overtaken by the smell.

Salad excellent, steak tasty, onion rings really good. Had Jackson as our waiter very attentive. View of Lake Dow impressive. This is a resturant that everyone should try. Parking excellent come hungry.
